The class grades have been updated, taking into account assignment 2. Check out your standing in the Grade Gallery. Remember, the projected final grade is simply the grade you would receive today based upon the quality points you have accumulated thus far and taking into account penalties for absences.

Reminder: As I mentioned in the e-mail to the class, for your final interactive forms assignment, you must pick an event on the national, international, or state scene. Base your interactive form upon something currently in the news. Be prepared to support the currency of your topic with appropriate documentation. Please inform me in class on Friday, December 6, what your topic proposal entails.

If you have any questions about this bit of tweaking of the assignment, please e-mail me at your convenience. If necessary, I will clarify the topic further when next we meet on Wednesday, December 4.

Today, Wednesday, November 13, we'll focus on Assignment Two, due in final form by Friday, November 15, at 8:30 a.m. DHTML and hover buttons will take up the first part of the class; the remainder will be devoted to various other issues involving the assignment.

Note: Open lab today from 3:30 to 5:30 in Smith 223. I will also be available immediately after class in Smith 110, so if you can stay after class for a while, I will be happy to help you with any problems you may be encountering.

Those should be finished by class on Wednesday, November 6. Keep working on Assignment Two over the next few days. By next class, you should have a good bit of the analysis and evaluation written. Then all you will have to do is "pour" it into the page or pages. We will finish navigation on Wednesday, so you will have an opportunity to practice more analysis and evaluation in class.
