The class grades have been updated, taking into account assignment 2 corrections and any make-up work that I have received to date. Check out your standing in the Grade Gallery (link opens in new window). Remember, the projected final grade is simply the grade you would receive today based upon the quality points you have accumulated thus far and taking into account penalties for absences.

Note: Your final paper is due, on the Web and in print, Friday, December 13, no later than 12:00 noon. Bring the printouts to my office in LaCava 265. Those of you who have not yet corrected Assignment 2, note the first requirement of Assignment 3. Not making corrections can result in a huge penalty being deducted from the score on your third assignment. I should be in the office by 11:00, so you may bring all your papers by any time between then and noon.

I'll hold open lab during the regularly scheduled time for the final exam: Wednesday, December 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is a good opportunity for you to come and ask questions as well as work on the final assignment in a group atmosphere....with a mentor. How cool.

As with assignment 1, you will have the opportunity to earn a possible extra 5 points on Assignment 2 corrections. These must be done and in my hand by no later than 5 p.m., Monday, December 9. Be sure to hand in the annotated copy (my comments in red), signed and dated, with the phrase "corrected" on the top.

Some of you have seriously damaged grades that concern you. If you are interested in doing something about that, send me a proposal on what it is you would like to do and how much you would like it to count (number of possible points). I will consider the proposal and either accept it, counter propose, or reject it. Latest date to file a proposal for grade repair is Friday, December 6, noon.
