Check this out: We are now ready to venture into the marvelous world of Web graphics: raster (aka bitmap) and vector (using math, geometrical primitives). Exercise 3 introduces you to editing and layout of the major raster graphic format on the Web: jpg (or jpeg). You will download, source, edit, and layout a number of graphics in the next class meeting and for the remainder of the course.
As an introduction to graphics, we will review the tutorial "Web Graphics: Vector and Raster," also available in print form as a pdf file.If you have questions, just e-mail me at wbuchholz@bentley.edu.
